Parenting can be a beautiful thing, but… parenting can also be ‘really’ tough sometimes. Think of it as math – easygoing and easy to figure out sometimes, and chaotic, agonizing, and insanely frustrating the other. There is no in-between!
Whether you are having a tough time getting around with the drama and the chaos your kid(s) creates or it is a smooth ride for you, you will surely enjoy leafing through these hilarious comics created by Heloise Weiner. Weiner is a French mom of 6 who loves illustrating parenting as comics and depicting what it is like to live a mom’s life.
Read through and enjoy.

If you think you knew what struggle looks like, wait till you need to make your kid take a bath. First comes the dilemma of making them get into the bath – they will fight tooth and nail to avoid dipping their teeny tiny toes into the water. Next comes the struggle of getting them out of the bath.
The problem behind this is that many kids don’t do well with transitions. They may not want to get into the water and once they do, they may not want to come out of the warm, soapy oasis – and we don’t blame them!
You can fix this problem by making bath time more of a fun activity than a dreaded compulsory chore. Once they are close to being done with their bath, keep a fuzzy towel ready to wrap them in before they hit the cool air.

Are you the mom that likes to stay organized and plan everything out? Even a fun day with your little one? Well, here’s a shocker: That little dev1l will surely put a dent into your plan, no matter how foolproof it is.

If someone ‘preaches’ you to sleep if you are tired, ask them to sleep in between two kids, wake up abruptly to change nappies, and be at their beck and call at any point of time.
However, if you are suffering from postpartum insomnia, i.e., insomnia developed after pregnancy, here are a few tips that can help:
- Hit the gym
- Create a routine
- Practice good sleep hygiene
- Keep nighttime care of your child brief’
- Ask your pediatrician about sleep training
- Switch up your diet.

Believe us: Once you have kids, you will start loving and appreciating your mother more than you ever did. With your kids making your life just a ‘tad’ bit more difficult, you finally begin to understand how it must have been for your mother.
So, whenever you miss her or feel like you should have appreciated her a little more for everything she did and still does, ring her up and tell her how much you love her!

Of course holding your little munchkin in your arms is an absolutely beautiful feeling. But, truth be told, when the whining starts, nothing can be more painful. To add to it, some people just won’s stop gushing at you and your baby. All you can do is wish that they knew what you need to go through at times.

Arms swinging, and dress frolicking she comes, grabs your attention, tries to recall what she wanted to say and poof! Vanishes into the thin air.

Unlike us adults, birthdays mean a lot to every kid – and who are we to blame them? We harnessed the same amount of enthusiasm when we were eagerly counting days for our birthdays. However, the little element of surprise chimes in when your kid comes with an updated birthday list.
What do you do then? Prepare for the worst and learn a lesson for next time: always include a backup plan for your kid’s birthday next year.

It is an unsaid pact between the parents and the kids. When the parent says ‘Maybe, we’ll see’, it automatically translates to ‘Yes’ for the kid. By now, you should know to either answer in a ‘yes’ or a ‘no’ because a ‘maybe’ is definitely a ‘yes’.

Method 101 on how to lure your parents into your room:
Step 1: Discreetly tell them not to come into your bedroom.
Step 2: Make it look like you are doing something super secretive.
Final Step: Rush into your bedroom, asking them ‘NOT’ to come into the bedroom to see what is happening.

I don’t know many of you can relate to this, but I can certainly relate to the struggles a not-so-photogenic kid (because I was one, duh!). If you have a not-so-photogenic kid, you should know that their awkwardness reaches a pinnacle when you ask to click a picture of them – that too out of the blue!

No matter how many times you say ‘yes’ to them, the one time that you say ‘no’, you are sure to hear the infamous “YOU ALWAYS SAY NO!”
We hope you had fun relating to these fun and humorous parenting comics. While you are here, take a deep breath and… Oh! Your kid just spilled the beans… on the couch!
